1 h 30 minPrimary & Secondary Schools

Service Description

Aligned with the Science & PSHE curriculum, this workshop explores digestion, energy storage, and the effects of exercise on the body. Students will uncover hidden sugars in everyday foods, compare healthy vs. unhealthy choices, and see real science in action. 🔬 Hands-On Experiments – Observe how sugars dissolve in "blood," measure fats in snacks, and analyse real food packaging in a nutrition challenge. ⚡ Movement-Based Learning – Role-play as muscles, fat cells, and organs to see energy in action! 🍎 Healthy Eating Challenges – Swap unhealthy foods for better choices in an interactive meal-building activity. 📖 Engaging Storytelling – Bring science to life through immersive narratives that help children visualise and connect with key concepts. Suitable for all primary school ages, activities are carefully adapted to different ages and abilities, ensuring a clear understanding of key concepts. Through hands-on experiments, movement-based learning, and engaging storytelling, children will actively explore the circulatory system, energy pathways, and other scientific processes in a fun and memorable way.

“We had Youth Evolution in for a heart dissection workshop. The students had so much fun during the activity and it was great to see the workshop leader engaging so much with them, answering all questions that were asked. "
